Byram first choice right back, Burke as cover with the opportunity to get some good experience. It seems like a no brainer, but there must be a reason why a seasoned pro and manager who is the West Ham manager can see a logic against that which the majority here can't. In Slav we trust l, but it's being tested - probably for the first time.
For me there seem to be two possibilities- either Bilic doesn't trust Byram, and we're all at risk of making him better the less he plays (Obiang? Daprela???) or Bilic works on a 'you've got to earn the shirt from the person who had it before you' principle.
If it's the latter then I suspect last night will be the moment Byram moves into pole position. I just hope that if so, Antonio gets a fair crack of the whip at fighting for a place on the right wing.

Nope, just always in the right place at the right time, you don't notice I'm on the pitch sometimes but you don't care when I've bagged a ten minute hat-trick. Some of the greatest strikers in the world have followed my lead in that respect.

I hope that is the last of Antonio starting at RB and he's started at RW as a show of confidence.
Sadly I think he'll be benched. I really hope we don;t lose such a quality attacker, we need his power and pace badly. Plus he really knows where the goal is.
